WAITING FOR GOD'S APPROPRIATE TIME FOR MEETING OUR NEEDS (2KINGS 20:5)

The Word of God that Hezekiah must prepare himself for death and Hezekiah's prayers to God (Verse 2) has relevance to our relationship with God.

1. All things that God utters about future life is no a must that they will not change. Servant of God, when we face disasters, we can still have absolute faith that God is concerned about what facing us, He is merciful and concerned with us when we face trials in our lives.

2. Our prayers touch God, His purpose and his ways of implementing his plans. Therefore, what happens inour lives is determined by God's plans as well as our prayers.

We must always keep scriptural influence that prayers change the status core (2Kings 20:4-7, 2Kings 21:29, Eze 33:13-16, James 5:14-15 )

God talked during the day of his trial, but He didn't talk because of the hurdles of the trial/ problems that a person has (2Kings 20:1)

You might find yourself faced by the voice beside and think that is the LORD'S appropriate time for the fulfillment of his promise to you, but still you will find yourself fulfilling the prophecy by yourself before the God's appointed hour.

For example: The blessings of Abraham (Gen. 15:2,4. 16:1-2)

ABRAHAM HAD TO WAIT FOR THE LORD'S APPIONTED TIME " OUR GOD STILL CAN WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT YOUR STATUS/ CONDITION? BELIEVE THAT OUR GOD STILL CAN DO"

WHAT MAKES GOD TO HEAL AND FORGIVE IS WITHIN YOUR REACH (2 CHRONICLES 7:14)

God's judgement upon his people when values fall, spiritual matters are neglected and conformity to the manners of this world takes place; infertility and stripes occur (verse 13)

THE FOLLOWING ARE FOUR CONDITIONS FOR AWAKENING AND RESTORATION OF SPIRITUAL LIFE FOR GOD'S DELIBERATE PURPOSE AND BLESSINGS TO HIS PEOPLE (Acts 3:19)

1. "They will humble themselves"- God's people must realize their defeat, must regret for their faults and rededicate themselves in doing God's will.

If the person humbles himself before God and His Word, that person recognizes his worth spiritually (2chronicles 11:16, 15:12-13, 15, Psalms 51:17, Mathew 5;3)

2."Praying"- God's people must pray diligently. For the sake of mercy, they must directly depend on him and believe in his intervention. Prayers must be real and consistent until God answers from the heaven.

"Seeking the face of God"- God's people must seek him diligently and desire his presence and not trying diverge from the problems. (2Chronicles 19:13, 1Chronicles 16:11, Isaiah 55:6-7)

4. To "Turn from their wicked ways"- God's people must repent and leave all the iniquities that that make God sad. They must not agree to conform to the manner of this world so that they approach to God for mercy, forgiveness and sanctification (2Chronicles 29:6-11, 2Kings 17:13,Zechariah 1:4, Hebrews 4:16)

THE GOD'S PROMISE TO US (HEBREWS 4:1-7)

The time we have now is the time of walking with God.

We Bornagains are the only people who walk in the principle of life (Fil. 1:21). The reliable network and trusted one is only salvation (Ef. 2:8)

I. TO RECEIVE THE GOD'S PROMISE YOU NEED TO DO THE FOLLOWING

To prosper spiritually (3 John 1:2)

To depart from wickedness (To live the victory life) (Prov. 28:13, Deut. 28:15-22, 27-28, 66-67)

To live according to the Word of God. (Ps. 119:105)

II. SURRENDER YOUR HEART TO JESUS

When you worship, your heart is incurbated by Jesus (John 14:21). The Spiritual and Bornagain people obey the Word of God.

Ask yourself "am I obedient to God?"

"Is my life acceptable before the God?"

"Am I not lazy in the God's ministry? "

ASK GOD TO RENEW YOURSELF.
