PROPHET EMMANUEL MAKANDIWA

Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa

Emmanuel Makandiwa is a popular religious leader who founded an interdenominational church in 2008 which later became a fully functional church in 2010. He was a pastor in the Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe (AFM) Church. Makandiwa has been in the media limelight with his controversial miracles ranging from manhood enlargement to changing people's HIV statuses as well as causing the birth of baby three-day-old pregnancy

Having been born in a Christian family, Makandiwa used to be part of the team which organized gospel crusades and was one of the preachers. He came back to Harare and was enrolled at the A.F.M’s Living Waters Theological Seminary where he graduated with a Diploma in Theology in 2002. Makandiwa claimed that before he graduated he was called in a vision by God in 1995.After graduating, Makandiwa went to Matabeleland where he worked as an assistant pastor under the supervision of Reverend Aspher Madziyire (who was once the President of AFM). He was then assigned to be the pastor of an Assembly in Shangani. In 2004, he was transferred to How Mine and subsequently to Hebron Assembly in Chitungwiza. In August 2008, Makandiwa started an inter-denominational church drawing the attention of many people. His sermons were screened on Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation television.

Apart from being a "Prophet", Makandiwa is also a businessman. In the last quarter of 2014, it was rumored that Makandiwa purchased a gold mine from a Chinese firm, Ming-Chang for US $1,3 million which he was given by a certain local bank. A consortium company trading under the name Havilah Gold is also believed to belong to Makandiwa as it is run by a group of directors who are all members of Makandiwa's church. Makandiwa uses the Sterkinekor’s franchise locally and in Zambia.

On 3 June 2016, Makandiwa launched Brand Makandiwa at a colorful event held in Harare. In attendance were his spiritual father Victor Boateng, his biological parents, foreign delegates and local business executives. According to the brand managers led by Randy Bediako of Ghana, Brand Makandiwa seeks to celebrate Makandiwa’s achievement through various products that will be released on the market, such as books and branded wares, among others

Makandiwa built a house for Chief Kasekete Changara of Mashonaland Central It was also reported that Makandiwa contributed immensely to the construction of an orphanage run by Grace Mugabe in Mazowe.

HOW WORDS CAN AFFECT PEOPLE'S LIVES

Jeremiah 11

1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,

2 Hear ye the words of this covenant; speak to the people of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;

3 And say unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant,

Praise the Lord Jesus very, very much.

Covenant is _ * words of reconciliation between God and man, or between gods and men and those words are usually governed by spiritual power from God if people have made a covenant with Him, or from gods if people have made those covenants with those gods. * _

There is no covenant without the spiritual power that accompanies that covenant.

Once you have made a covenant with God or with the gods, spiritual power from them must come upon you to fulfill all that you have already done when you make a covenant with them.

And the power that is within the covenant between you and God or with the gods is what is going to affect your life day by day, whether for good or for bad.

In Jeremiah 2: 2 and 3 you will see God who is the Great and Holy Spirit, opening His mouth and releasing a spiritual power called a curse upon the people of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he tells us the reason why he has decided to release this kind of spiritual power over these people.

In verse 3 you will see him saying that reason and reason is the existence of the words of the covenant between them and He God who is the supreme and supernatural Spirit of all creation.

The existence of the words of the covenant had a clause for the release of the curse on the people of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem; The curse occurred when they found themselves abandoning the covenant words between them and God.

A curse is a complete spiritual force that has an effect on people to whom a covenant is addressed in one way or another, between them and God or with the gods.

God has his own power called a curse and also Satan has his own power called a curse and they usually release it to the people only when people abandon their covenant words and follow others contrary to their covenant.

What amazes me in verse 3 is that we do not see the people of Judah and Jerusalem being told to make a covenant with God, but you will see them being sent with words only, saying that everyone who does not hear the words of the covenant will be cursed.

The question is when the covenants were made between them and God until they were told that if they did not listen to the words of the covenant between them and God they would be cursed.

It is a matter of deep contemplation, for if you read in these verses here;

Proverbs: 26.2

As the sparrow in her wandering, as the swallow in her flying; Likewise, a curse without cause does not strike a person.

You will see the curse if it has no reason, it cannot strike anyone.

So the children of Judah and Jerusalem the words of the covenant, brought to them, had a reason why it came to them in their lives, though nowhere do we see them making a covenant with God openly, they like them.

Hear the reason why the words of the covenant came to them and found them and released the curse on them; is that when their fathers made covenants with God, those covenants were made with their descendants after them, they were covenants to inherit within their families and clans, they were passed on from generation to generation and God was following them as words of reconciliation between parents and the offspring of their intestines.

So whether you know it or not, God himself was claiming and desiring the offspring of all those who had made a covenant with him, so that you may hear and understand that they are not just ordinary descendants but the following offspring with powerful covenant words of blessings and curses. who do not listen to and follow those covenants, and this is where the origin of finding yourself living is very difficult and very difficult.

If you do not know that the covenant exists and follows you you will live a very difficult life, because you will not know why the curse or failure in life happens to you every day.

An unreasonable curse is not permitted to continue to pursue you and make you unsuccessful every day, whether it is a curse based on a covenant made within the clan or family between the gods and the elders of the family or clan, and the covenant has an element inherited from generation to generation, know that the spirit of the gods will only follow you, if you want to be a part of hearing the covenant, just like the agreement made in the past, between your parents and the spirit of the gods, with whom they made a covenant and it does not matter whether you know it or not. , the spirit of the gods will follow you only, until you know how to surrender there only with God's help.
