BISHOP MWASOTA WARNS ABOUT ‘COPY’ IN CHRISTIANITY

Bishop David Mwasota of the Naioth Gospel Assembly church located outside Mabibo external, Dar es Salaam said this at a service to begin the new year of 2013 at the church where many members appeared at the altar of the Lord and testified of what God had done for them throughout 2012.

Warning in his sermon he said that there is now a belief in Christianity that believers are made to reach God through the ministers they lead. These ministers make their believers dependent on them for all spiritual matters especially the whole matter of prayer and thus make them incapable of being spiritually independent.

Bishop Mwasota made it clear that this situation was another ‘copy’ that came instead of the faith that many had before they were saved where believers approach God through ministers. The bishop emphasized this by giving an example to other ministers who urge people to go to their homes just to be prayed for and to encourage them to do other things that they should do.

In addition, Bishop Mwasota who is the General Secretary of the Council of Pentecostal Bishops in Tanzania (PCT), made family prayers for his associates in the service as well as praying for the olive oil that the faithful brought with them to be anointed to break the problems and yoke in their lives. . The bishop has decided to put the anointing oil in oil and the faithful use it to apply it on the scalp, in the house n.k. after he received a great miracle from the anointed oil.

This promise is only for those who love God and submit to Him through faith in Christ (Ps. 37:17).

God works with those who love Him.

I. THE GREAT SECRET OF ONE'S SUCCESS IS:

1. To love God.

God works with people who love Him.

Those who love him are the ones he works with.

You will bear fruit (Ps. 92:14)

You will be naked, the Lord will bless you until your old age.

When Abraham is about 90 years old he gives birth, the years do not matter before God. Do not be overwhelmed by the passing of the years.

You will become fat (Neh. 9: 23-25)

PERSONAL HOLINESS

HOW TO GET HOLINESS

(1 Peter 1: 15-16)

The word "holiness" literally means to be set apart for use in a special divine use.

Holiness requires that one be separated from the natural world into the world of godliness.

I. THREE STEPS TO HOLINESS

i. The first step is "Salvation"

Separation from the will of God (1Cor 1: 2)

a) The idea of ​​a "holy place" was in God's mind.

b) All Christians are set apart in God's will and are Saints.

c) The first basic step in one's holiness is Salvation by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ and the Sacrifice He provided.

ii. The next step is to “commit”

Separation from God in the Believer's Mind (Rom. 12: 1)

a) The Lord Jesus was delivered in the mind of his parents.

b) All Christians can fully surrender to Christ.

c) The next step of one's holiness is to dedicate one's life to God through gratitude for His love and mercy.

iii. The third step is to “be transformed”

The believer separates himself for God in his life (2Tim. 2: 19-22, Eph 4:15)

a) True holiness is a daily life of purifying oneself from sin and seeking righteousness.

b) Seek holiness with those who call on the Lord with a pure heart.

c) The third step of holiness is your conversion and likeness to Christ in perfect obedience.

II. KEY STEPS TO ACHIEVING HOLINESS

Daniel 9: 20-27

Week 1 = 7 years

1. (Verse 24) - 70 weeks is a prophetic count.

By our calculation one week equals 7 years.

A period of 7 years if there are 70 periods and each period is 7 years we can write this 70x7 = 490 (years).

The 70 weeks (70x7 years) refers to the Israelites and Jerusalem - the people of Daniel and his city.

2. (Verse 25) - Since the command was given to rebuild Jerusalem. 7 weeks = 49 years began with the command to rebuild Jerusalem under Ezra and Nehemiah. They built a temple, an altar, and a wall.

3. (Verse 26) The 62 weeks = 434 years began during the construction of the wall of Jerusalem, the construction of the highways and tunnels (62x7 = 434) and continued until the crucifixion of Christ.

The end of the 69 weeks marks the appearance of the Messiah as head of Israel.

The Messiah is cut off - Christ is crucified at the end of Week 69.

Between weeks 69 and 70 is interrupted by the current period and the church. This makes the 70th week still ahead.

c. After 483 years (49 + 434) the life of the Nation of Israel came to a standstill.

d. The Gentile Times begin after the 69th week. Now we are in this age waiting for the return of Christ.

Daniel did not see the Church age.

4. (Verse 27) - The antichrist will make a firm covenant with many people for 1 week (7 years).

The 70th week = 7 years is not yet the time when God will deal with Israel alone. This is a time of trouble for Jacob.

Luke 4: 1-3

1. Secular activities

(Luke 8:14). These make it impossible for a person to seek God in prayer and worship. Earthly activities do not survive. If you engage in it to get rid of it, it will get rid of you. Those are the ones that are holding people back.

They oppress a person who lacks devotion in his heart.

 When God succeeds another person, He feels better. God is impartial, he loves all people.

4. Worship problems

 They can make you feel like God. Every time you go you think about problems. Keep God in your heart, not just problems.
