FACTORS THAT CAUSE LOSS OF SPIRITUAL POWER / GOD
Mdo. 1: 8 - I will receive power from God.
Luke 4: 1-3
1. Secular activities
(Luke 8:14). These make it impossible for a person to seek God in prayer and worship. Earthly activities do not survive. If you engage in it to get rid of it, it will get rid of you. Those are the ones that are holding people back.
They oppress a person who lacks devotion in his heart.
2. not to mention
a) The Word of God
b) The voice of God - it is heard in our ears
c) Obedience to authority (domestic, etc.) (Genesis 4: 7-9)
3. see yourself as better than others
When God succeeds another person, He feels better. God is impartial, he loves all people.
In any success the devil pursues you to destroy you.
All that is required is humility.
4. Worship problems
They can make you feel like God. Every time you go you think about problems. Keep God in your heart, not just problems.
NB: When a person gets bad and prays it is not imagining problems
i) The word is a lamp
ii) Problems are dark
(Judges 16: 15-19)
• What is being sought is the essence of your power.
• The nature of those forces. Samson was found unconscious
Satan tempts a person to go on business until the evening and refuses to go to church.
The essence of our power is:
i. Application
ii. Reading the Word of God
iii. Attend worship
• Do not laugh at Samson even if you are not careful you can be deceived in the same way.
- You can fall asleep on the devil's knees and be put to work until he shaves you, if you are not careful to serve the Lord.
Are you fast asleep in the gain?
Maybe in:
Lies, gossip, laziness, success, quarrels n.k.
If you just sleep, the devil brings a razor he shaves:
a) Application
b) Delivery
c) Coming to worship
d) Witnessing n.k.
Samson was a human being like us.
LOOK AT WHICH OR IN WHICH ARE YOU LYING ON SATAN'S KNEES?
