Welcome to study the Word of GOD.
If there is something important for a person who has left GOD then it is that person who decides to return to GOD.
Joel 2:12 "Yet even now, saith the LORD, turn to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning;
What is returning to GOD?
To return to GOD is to restore the relationship with GOD in CHRIST JESUS.
That relationship was broken (by disobeying the Word of GOD) or the relationship was never found (You are not saved)
Ezekiel 14: 6 "Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Return ye, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations."
To return to GOD is to return to your original position you had in CHRIST.
Jeremiah 18:11 "Now therefore go to, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; your ways and your deeds. "
To return to GOD is to go to GOD's place when you have left, it is to return to your duty to GOD.
Malachi 3: 7-10 "From the days of your fathers you have turned aside from my ordinances, and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you," says the LORD of hosts. "But you say, 'How shall we return?' But you say, 'How have we robbed you? You have stolen my tithes and offerings. You have been cursed with a curse; for you have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me in this way. saith the LORD of hosts; know that I will not open to you the floodgates of the heavens, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. "
Did you forsake Salvation? There you left GOD.
Did you quit the service?
Did you stop tithing?
Did you forsake holiness in CHRIST JESUS? Brethren, there you left GOD.
Brethren return to GOD in CHRIST JESUS.
Brother, return to your duty to GOD.
Brethren, return to your ministry in CHRIST JESUS the Savior.
What can happen if you return to GOD?
1. If you return to GOD he will return to you.
Zechariah 1: 3-4 "Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. Be not ye as your fathers, to whom the former prophets cried, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Return ye now, and turn from your evil ways, and from your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the LORD.
It is very dangerous if you have been forsaken by GOD, brother go back to GOD and he will return to you, it is a great benefit to return to GOD after you return to him in CHRIST JESUS.
2 Chronicles 30: 6 And they went in to the king, and to all the princes of Israel, and to the king, saying, Return unto the LORD God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Israel; to return the remnant of you who have escaped from the hands of the kings of Assyria. "
2. If you return to GOD He will cancel the evil that was intended against you.
Joel 2:13 "Rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil."
3. If you return to him GOD will bless you.
Joel 2:14 "Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?"
4. If you return to Him GOD will heal you if you need healing.
Jeremiah 3:22 "Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the LORD our God."
5. If you return to GOD you will be given what is right.
Jeremiah 35:15 "And I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them; and ye shall dwell in the land. which I gave to you and to your fathers; but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear me. "
By leaving GOD they found even their own rights ie staying in the houses of their fathers being removed, returning to GOD is what restores them and their rights.
Returning to GOD in CHRIST JESUS is a very important thing for you who have left GOD.
What did you leave GOD for?
Brethren, you are the one who knows, My job is to let you know that you must return to GOD in CHRIST JESUS, return to Salvation, return to being a man of worship, return to ministry, return to your duty to GOD, tell your family to return to JESUS, tell your friends turn to JESUS CHRIST the Savior.
He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. And he shall return unto GOD, in Christ Jesus.
